The Kosciuszko Walk Steel Mesh Walkway islocated in the Kosciuszko National Park in NSW. The 7km of walkways connect Thredbo Resort to the Mt Kosciuszko summit. The new walkway replaces the old one which was non conpliant to Australian Standards. This upgrade means the walkway is now safe for wheelchairs and emergency vehicles, and is environmentally friendly.

SJLM constructed the lower Thredbo Valley Track EP,603 Steel Elevated Platform with FRP decking from the The Thredbo River Picnic Ground towards the Gaden Trout Hatchery.

The baseline location was established through LIDAR Surveys, that then allowed the accurate planning of the walkways. SJLM needed to go around natural features and significant flora and some fauna too.

Gaps underneath are necessary for the transit of many species and the walkway also serves emergency vehicles as it is that strong.
